210 v 225

Just a quick question from a newbie
I have uses the search but cant find the answer

Can the 210BHP LCR be tuned to the same as the 225BHP engine

Is it better to get the 225 if i can afford it, insurance shouldn't be a problem

225 are tear drop mirrors.

210 are square- same as on golf mk4.

Both are electric folding.

i bought mine as a 210 and bought the 225 steering wheel and tear drop mirros cost he the grand total of £180

im now running 270+ BHP so thats more than enough on a fwd car.

later 03 210 lcr come with teardrop mirrors.
only diff is the steering wheel and engine code.

ah ok. looks a lot better with the wheel and mirrors
there was 1 on ebay. the guy told me it was a 225 but i checked the computer in work and it came up 206.4 (approx)

ive read the buyer guide on here so hopefully find a decent 1.

most places can put any logo on the side of the reg, ill see if i can do it in work tomorrow

cupra R recaros seem rare on ebay. the 1st set i have seen for a while went for 350
i did read somewhere that golf and s3 seats go in too tho

yeah i did the steering wheel myself im very pleased with how it came out.
as for the plate, any graphics shop can do it.

cherry blossom shoe wax mate, less that a quid at wilkoes
i did my 210 steering wheel and gear knob, then my shoes, had to be done in the rite order lol
the recaros do come up on the bay now and again but never below 350, that the cheapest iv seen them go for and that was not with recaro rear seat but a normal "r" seat AND it had the wrong head rests.
i just got a set of teardrops for 40 quid though lol
