Getting some winter tyres but struggling to find a set of Vredestein Wintrac Extreme for my Cupra. Will 225/45 R18 fit as i may have found some in this size?

And ye I had noticed them. Spoke to someone there a month or so ago and they said mid to end of November but now there saying sometime in December, not their fault but their suppliers so was checking other companies for a set.

Unfortunately this is the worst time of year to buy winter tyres as everyone is after them, pushing stock levels down and prices up...

Tell me about it!!! Just have to cross my fingers and hope I find a set.

also a big problem is the fact a lot of tyres come from holland, there is a courier strike on at the moment causing a back of stock for everyone! i know as the company i work for, we've been waiting since the start of october for some pipework to come in, and we're being told it wont be till january now!!

I just bought a set of Dunlop WinterSport 3D in 225/40x18 from mytyres.

Ordered them last Monday and they turned up on Friday

Have to say I'm very impressed so far,. and by the looks of the weather forecast I'm just in time too!!
