just got myself a 225 steering wheel for £40!!!!! do you guys think thats a good price???? and how hard is it to fit yourself??????
VERY good price! Others have fitted these before so the info will be out there already. In fact, there was a thread recently about changing steering wheels I'm sure...?
been looking at getting the R32 steering wheel, then this one came up on thursday on flea bay!!!!!
the 225 one has the cupra r badge on the bottom a red centre line at the top and two thumb holes either side of the airbag!!! very similar to the r32 one!!!there are a few r32 ones on flea bay at the mo for £150 without the airbag but brand new!! had my eye on them for a while until this one came up!!!
£40 is very cheap!!!! Well done!! There was a 210 one on ebay with an R badge stuck on it, it’s not that one is it? There is someone on fle bay selling Brand new R32 steering wheels for £150. I got one and its beautiful, feels good!! Fitting. I had to customise a screw driver to get the cap release clips but other than that its easy peeezy lemon squeeezy 
this was advertised as breaking lcr!!! so i just rang up n asked if he had the steering wheel and what price!!!! when he said £40 i snapped his hand off!!!!!! had to travel to birmingham to pick it up tho!! but its only 40 odd miles away!!!!! haha

That's an excellent price!! I wanted one for my FR as I'd already got hold of the Recaro's & black headlining and interior trim parts from a 210... the steering wheel was a little shiny so wanted the 225 version. I think Seat wanted around £240!! Needless to say I didn't get one... well, I did really - I bought a 225 LCR! lol

Pooed my pants taking the air bag out but its was quite easy
