3 beeps when reverse gear selected.

Hi all, we have a mk3 Leon 1.2tsi with 7s DSG. Recently as well as the usual beep when reverse is selected, this is now followed by another 3 beeps in a different tone. Any ideas why?

Thanks for the quick reply. I guess that's going to be a garage with an OBD reader job. Reverse sensors still beep. Nothing in the vehicle status section of the infotainment system

I have heard the same number of beeps on a few occasions together with an error message indicating rear parking sensor failure. Unfortunately does not say which sensor. Has always happened after rear bumper is wet. Drying off sensors & a spray with WD-40 has always solved the problem.
