As the title suggests, how many miles have you done before needing a new set of rubbers? I'm looking at buying an FR CR but slightly concerned that new tyres were bought after 15k miles.

All depends how you drive together with brand of tyre, no different to any other car. I've never had tyres last over 10k on any cars driven wheels. .

15k miles on any set of tyres is a good run if you ask me, when you think that's just short of a year and a half of average road use. you can get better wearing tyres but expect to pay a nice premium. i run Avons and i get around 12,000 miles out of a set but im really happy with how they perform in both the dry and wet and i don't mind their comparatively short lifespan
