3rd gear

Afternoon peeps

Over the last couple of weeks i've noticed when partaking in a 'spirited' drive, changing from 2nd to 3rd somtimes grindes when engaging into third. Any body else notice this or is it just my shite driving!!

Same here!! Only started doing it just lately though. Is it me being to quick with clutch or is there actually something wrong with it

i think thats the change thats most fussy / easiest to **** up.

This has been discussed loads in the past, a search should show something up.

I think it is actually a fault, although it seems to be fairly common. A change of gearbox oil sorts it out for some people, while others have managed to get a new gearbox under warranty. Or you could just live with it.

The 'and you moan at me about not being able to drive ' looks i'm getting are unbearable!!

(Although she has ruined alloys on my ctr and my leon once..the swine!!)
