I was tempted to ask him a question along those lines but forgot too.

There was a guy selling a black Cupra R before and he quoted "Faster than a Skyline's, Evo's & Scooby." I told him I was interested in a Evo 5 that does 0-60 in 4.4 seconds and could he guarentee that his LCR was quicker to 60. He replied saying that no Evo has ever given him a problem 0-60 :cartman:

What planet was this guy on? I know it had Revo but that doesn't give you 350bhp and AWD does it?

Example advert for car on e-bay:

SEAT Leon Cupra R (With personal plates) - £26,000

The last car you'll ever need to buy.

If you are looking for the ultimate sports hatch then look no further, your quest is over. Goes like $hit off a stick with its extensive modifications including:

Electronic aspirator sound DV
e-bay 'instant 40bhp' cooker knob mod
Legendary Fabia rear wiper
Indoor jacuzzi in front footwells fed by seal leaks
Limited edition creaking dash
Misting light effect
Reverse warning device (Integrated into rear disks - its not squealing dealer told me)

Performance
0-60 in 4 seconds*
Top speed 165mph*
300 BHP ATW

*(At altitude down the side of a mountain below 2 degrees using a mix of 95RON & donkey sexwee)

I've never been overtaken, ever, even when other cars were trying really hard (could hear their engines and everything) - that makes this car a proven race winner (hence the premium price). You will never have to face losing a race. I believe the personal plate to be worth at least £4k as if you rearrange the letters and induce mind altering drugs you COULD believe it says Leon Cupra R.

Once in a lifetime opportunity to own the greatest hatch ever, only a fool would say no. Never raced offroad, no HPI outstanding once I've cleared the massive loan I took out to pay for it.

No test pilots or tyre kickers

I'll offer £24K.

:roflmao:

Are those cooker nobs still available - kicking myself for missing that one

What are you lot on about! Anyone with any sense would use a Steam Catapult to be hammered from 0-150mph in 2 seconds and then plunge into the atlantic!

I was winning bidder didnt meet reserver though:(

that means you'll never be able to get a shot at the land speed record now mate - bad luck. Go and buy an Evo 6 instead and you may actually get some of the promised performance. Putting down a 4.8s 0-60 time in a Leon R would require slick tyres, a steep hill and the driving abilities of Michael Schumacher. Its no traffic light charger!

I popped up yours earlier caney but you where out as it was only the tt and the van on the drive.

May be a stupid question, but would it actually be possible to acheive a 0-60 in 4.8 seconds with a REVO LCR on the rollers, perhaps if they used no drag against the car?

Or maybe they changed the gearing and made 1st gear do 100000 mph :)

fully tested on a rollng road last week
