5 Door owners

As a UK 2021 plate owner am noticing now when it rains that water is pooling on top of rubber inside door seal on the passenger rear door (drivers side)

Whilst the water is not getting into the car when I open the door it does drip onto the rear seat

Does any other 5 door owner experience this

We are all 5 door model owners. There is no 3 door options for Mk6

Regarding your original question, yes thats "normal", or should I say "by design".
The same happens for all recent VW models.
From what I noticed, there is no water channel or ridge between the roof and the doors, so any water in that area simply slides downwards and falls from the door arch onto the seats.
It is annoying, and I don't know if there is anything we can do to prevent it
