504 00/ 507 00 Oil for FR Tdi?

Hi, Im just back from the local motor factors and bought the required stuff to service my car? I gave the guy my reg number and he came back with Comma oil, but it says vw 504 00/ 507 00? Is this correct to use in my car? I thought it had to be 505.01 Also, how do you tell if you have a DPM? My car is a 55 plate. Apologies for the quick nature of my post, im just about to start work on the car and want to make sure the oil is fine to use! Cheers guys for the help!

I'm pretty sure it needs to be 505.01.

Just read in the TDI section that I think the 507 00 is backward compatible to the 505.01, its just usually used for the long life servicing intervals.

I think the oil info from VAG was updated and 505 00 and 507 00 were suitable for our engines. As for DPM, I'm guessing that it depends on your engine code. Mine's an ASZ and doesn't have one (I think).
