I have searched, just so you know :)

I am aware that people have tried (and some succeeded) on getting a Polo 6n bumper on a 6k Ibiza Mk2.

What I am wondering, is it possible to do it the other way round?

I own a 6n Polo Hatchback and would love to have the front bumper from a 6k (pre-facelift) onto it as it looks much nicer than the standard 8v 2-part bumper that is on at the moment :D

Cheers [B)]

Don't think so mate. Heard the Polo is much wider... People that managed it the other way around have probably had to cut the bumper in half and take a slice out, then plastic weld it back together or something... It might work if you get 2 6k bumpers, slice both of them up and stick a section from one bumper in the middle of the other... Btw, pre-facelift?! That's the one I have... I can't see how that's going to be nicer on a modern-looking Polo?

6N polo is 3-4" narrower than the 6K Ibiza across the nose. It can be 'done' just cut the bumper in the middle, chop equal chunks out & bond together.

Mythbuster - It will look better since it is 1 piece, unlike the current 2 pieces the 6n has.

m0rk - thanks for that info :) will have to get down to the local scrappy to see if they have any in :)

Why don't you just fit a proper 6n 16v or SE front and rear bumper?

Single piece, full depth and bolt straight on

Martin - I would love to except they are few and far between, they normally go for around £100 for both, and they have been done to death by soo many people :) I just wanted to try and find something that was a little bit different.
