Hi,

I'm looking at buying a MK3 Imperial Blue Cupra later this year and want to go Euro stylee on it's ass.

I found this pic a while back of some Brock B2's which I think really suit the car -

I found that the 16s come in 7.5 and 9J, which is what I would look to be running (7.5J front, 9J back) however it looks as though the MK3 in this pic is runing 9J on the front and rear?!

The 17s come in an 8.5J but I would imagine this would restrict the performance and also limit the lowering potential. I'd be looking to use something like an H&R 50mm kit.

As I would really like to run as deep a dish as possible, does it sound feasible to run 9Js on both the front and back of a MK3 or am I smoking crack? Also, I'm guessing this would have some serious effects on the handling?

Any thoughts/comments welcomed.

Cheers,

Robbie C

the yellow ibiza above with the brocks has 9 inch on the front but is prepared in the bodyshop to cover the wide wheels
