Yesterday I started my Leon TDi 1.9, and saw a spanner Icon come up on the dash for a few seconds. It comes up every time I start the car. So I phoned my Seat dealer/garage, and the girl said I need to take it in for a service, and they will change the oil, and should only take 30 mins, and cost £80. To which I thought great!

But now I'm thinking shouldn't the car be getting a full service and check over?

On a side note are services not covered under the warranty?

Thanks all! Now booked in for same day, but with a 'Full Service' and checkup ~£139. Which is better then £80 now and £139 in 2 months time :)
