Hi all, just picked up my new LEON 2 stylance today, having read quite a few of the threads on here i am beginning to wonder if i should of stuck to my VW GOLF MK5 Match Edition :( , There seems to be quite a few faults on the new LEON 2, After reding the one about the exploding rear window due to excesive heat from the element seems quite alarming, i know every car has its faults, but now that i have only just picked the car up today and reading the problems that people are having is giving me a head ache:cry: , is the new LEON 2 really as bad as it sounds

No way - its a smashin motor

You'll find probs with any new cars these days and most are unusual

Remember this is a forum and people will tell you all sorts of issues with thier cars

I've had mine for nearly 4 months now and I must say its been perfect in every way!

Enjoy your new motor and stop worrying about things that are unlikely to happen mate ;)

It's human nature, people will always post with complaints when things go wrong, but will not post saying they've had their car 6 months and nothings gone wrong.

For what it's worth, I've had my TFSI Sport for 11 months and have had no problems whatsoever.

I havent had any of the problems mentioned on the forum, and mnies over a year old.

I've had my FR TFSI for 10,000 miles and 7 months and the only issue I have had came yesterday when the drivers control for the nearside rear window stopped working, which was annoying as I had opened all of the windows on the key (so had to stop and use the control on that door), and have only just had the car serviced :-(. However, in all nearly 300 hours of hassle free motoring in a car which looks way better than the Mk5 Golf in my opinion.

Thanks guys,
I will get some pictures of it later today and put them up.
Its only the 1.6 Stylance in LUNA GREY, so its never going to be like the FSI or TFSI, but i must agree she does look stunning, I had the 17"Rims put on it, Chrome oval exhaust and lower front grill surrounds, and the ally trim on the interior side of the doors and speakers, only thing i need to get used to is the climatic controls:think:, the VW GOLF i had just had the AC button:whistle:

my folks renault's laguna estate rear window exploded due to the heating elements --- these things happen i guess :)

i wouldn't worry about it :)

Hi all,
Well i managed to get one pic before my phone battery decided to run out, not a good shot as it doesnt really show it in its full beauty, more to come with my decent camera tomorrow[B)]

Almost had a bust up with some idiot who let go of there shopping trolly and bashed the front of the car:censored: , lucky there was no damage to the car, all he said was "I closed my boot and locked it when i realised it was just about to hit your car" [:@]

Looks great in silver - like the chrome pipe

You'll love it - I had a golf before I got my first Leon and have never looked back! Now on my 4th Leon :D

Looking forward to seeing more pics!
