A funny thing happened today

as i was driving along today just bellow the lkegal limit ... i liffted off from full throttle to break for a junction and the car kept accelarating for a little moment, maybe a second or so but it gave me a fright .. iv noticed this a few times now, always going from full throttle onto the breaks ..anyone have any ideas as to why this might happen ?????

Sticking throttle valve perhaps?
Try removing the throttle hose, clean the butterfly with electrical cleaner (without touching it) and do a throttle body re-align with vag com
