There is a pun or two here like:

"I always knew SEAT had a screw loose"

"Looks like SEAT have screwed you over"

Mmm, I will get my coat.....

Maybe this is SEAT solution to the condensation and speckled light issue

My LED lights have a factory seal/sticker on them. If your seals are intact this is a manufacturing fault and a SEAT problem to sort.

I have been to the dealers and the car is booked in to get this resolved. They are going to remove the lamp to try and get the screw out, if this fails, then a new lamp will be fitted. To be fair to the dealer, they didn't try to get out of repairing it, they accepted straight away it is a manufacturing defect.

You shouldn't have posted this !
Free extras !! Factory fitted !! Now everyone's gonna want it !!

Joking aside - Insist on a new headlamp - you dont know what damage that bolt has done in transport rolling around inside the lamp to the reflective surface or led modules.
Ask to see the old unit with bolt still inside if I were you - spending that much cash - you dont want an argument later down the line over warranty issues.
unbelievable really !

I've only seen dead (I think) insects, usually bees/wasps/flies wedged in there, but this screw is a first for me... I'm assuming you got screwed from the inside rather than from the outside (haha) eg...this was loose somewhere in the engine bay etc and made its way forward (how hard did you brake?). Surely if the screw flew in from outside, dealer would not sort/fix, plus you would have broken/scratched headlights and bumper.

The Cupra is back at the dealers today, lets hope all goes well and I get it back without a screw in the headlamp!

I got this as a courtesy car...........

It is an OK car, BUT what does annoy me, why should I have to drive around in a mobile billboard. It is frustrating enough my own car has developed a problem, so why humiliate me further......

That said, I don't think I will be driving very far in it, as I said above it is a nice enough car but the 225PS reduction in power from my Cupra is noticeable............

Time to break out the Yamaha MT10 I think............:p

Being totally out paced by a Ford Ka was very humbling..........

Ahahaha...somebody has been used to bullying the BMWs, Audis, Mercs, and Lexus...

That said...the least powerful car I've driven in was a Citroen C3 1.2 VTi 82PS...slight incline...overtake lane appears (this was in Norway), long lorry moves aside, look at revs (it's ok..around 2.5k rpm), mash my foot to the floor, engine grumbles, but doesn't really go...front seat passenger comments 'come on...press more' my reply 'my foot is flat on the floor it isn't moving.' Humbling experience, can't even overtake a lorry without struggling...

I got offered an up while my FR was in for it's first service, I refused and opted for a lift to work from a colleague instead lol.
