So happy going to get my top mounts and bearings this weekend then work on getting the lot on next week

Whoop head unit finally arrived

So got the cage out and started to install

Ran the microphone wire to the pillar pod for the hands free

Also fitted a bypass so the DVD player works

And now it's all in and looking like this

Will get some better photos in the dark tonight

Looking good, I've got the pioneer avh-5300 flip out screen and love it. App mode is the best feature if you have an iPhone. Can get tomtom through it aswell if ur jail broken.

Exactly same setup as me, thats where i put my mike too. did you get the ipod or iphone lead aswell. If you didnt then get one cause its well worth it.

Only problem i had, there that many wires coming out the back of the headunit i struggle to get the unit pushed all the way in for the first 10 tries

Mine went back after I put my hand in behind it on the side to direct the wires
And yup I have that 201 lead which is superb with the iPhone
Have you got the sat nav app on the phone

As I have a sub in the boot and the buggy goes in there a lot and I really don't want to damage it, i thought i will get a sub grill to protect it
So I went on eBay and found this

And yes it did come all the way from Israel

Fits the sub really well
