abf thermostat housing

hi can anyone tell me where the thermostat housing is as my dad is just trying to change it and cant find where it is

1998 2.0 gti 16v

bottom hose in the bottom of the water pump housing

careful with the bolts though they snap very easily

thermo stat is in the pump itself labelled part 9

no worries

just watch them bolt's and for reference to anyone changing a whole pump i know the pump itself is cheaper without the backhousing but . . .

once you buy it and snap half the bolts off and have to go back to swap it for the backhousing type you may as well save the time/hassle and get it from the start

it's only 3 bolt's to fit then as well

I realise this is a old post, but my thermostat housing has split and I can't seem to find a replacement housing anywhere I look its for a 2.0 16v gti. Does anyone know where I can get this from please??
