Hi, quick question....After changing all shocks n springs....All was fine for a day, now ABS and TRACTION light have come on (Are they correlated?)!!! Checked both plugs on sensors, both on....Initially my GF said light went out when turning corner, then came back on some 50 miles later!!!

I'm guessing a sensor or wiring....Any one had any experience with this?

sounds like youve possibly damaged the wired or plugs? carry out contuniuty tests with a multimeter or double check the wires. And yes the lights are related

Yep sounds like it, thanks for reply. Have not had chance to look yet (today) but any idea where ABS plug disconnects? To carry out continuity check. Also i guesss the sensor will have an internal resistance any idea of rough figures?

I was hammering the C**P out of hub to release shock strut, so sods law its prob a sensor as wires where out of the way!!!

Ok changed my Left fr ABS sensor, this made Both lights go out!! But now under very slow moving brake pressure you get a little pedal judder as if ABS is operating!!! Only occasionly - Eg:- whilst stopping at traffic lights etc

I only paid 10 pounds for ABS sensor off EBAY, so wonder if this is cause and effect? It was brand new...

Went to GSF today and bought 2 new ABS sensors 14 each....Just as precaution...
Seeing as i stupidly hammered both strut carriers profusely whilst changing shocks!!

Any ideas? I assume the judder is ABS self test as read elsewhere, but why now?
