Hi, does anyone know the correct ohm rating band for the abs sensors on a seat Altea 1.9 TDI . The abs light has come on and the steering light on the dash the other day so I'm in the process of trying to diagnose it . Both front sensors are giving 610 ohms and I'm sure this is too low, but because both of them are both the same I'm thinking it might be right and it could be the magnetic ring on the hub instead.
I also tried to test the wires leading to the abs sensor for continuity, but trying to find the other ends in the engine bay is an enigma. If anyone cold shine a light on where they all terminate in the engine bay that would be very much appreciated as there not much info on the Altea out there ( not even a Haynes manual).
And finally what's the best diagnostic tool for the Altea I was looking at vcds lite ,but my model is the 5P version and unfortunately I cant get a cable that will support it (my torque app doesn't support abs info )
