Abs Light

hiya guys,

after a bit of spirited driving the other day, the ABS light came on, and every now and again when i was breaking there was a noise coming from the drivers side front wheel. Its only everynow and again. It sounds like something is rubbing.

The light will also go out, its not on all the time.

Can any body help.

the car is a 97 ibiza gti 16v.

Most likely the ABS sensor was dirty

but you will need to connect to diagnostics to tell you which sensor is having issues.

probably best to just clean them

jack car up, take wheel off, have a look round the sensor.

might be handy to have wd40, and a wide paint brush, to spray it up, and brush off any crud around there.
