Acknowledging other Cupra/Cupra R drivers

Yesterday I passed a lovely LCR on the opposite side of the road and the driver waved to me in what I believe was an acknowledgement of my car (there was only me on the road and there was nothing wrong with my car). It's happened only a handful of times since I've had my LC but I was wondering if others do it, a bit like when I'm on my bike and you pass another biker and you both give each other a nod?

I do it, but then again I am also a biker so maybe it's just reflex.

A bit like most bus drivers in London give the busses coming the other way a swift wave!

Most of the time when Im passing by a Leon ( doesnt Matter what kind of 1.6 1.8 1.8t) they always seem to put their hand up towards me as a greeting
