Adjusting headlights, coolant temp and few more questions

Hi guys
1.
Does anybody know how to adjust headlights HORIZONTALLY? During last few foggy days i've noticed that they are pointing to the centre, bot of them, and meet in some 30m. This is obviously wrong. Right one has to point dead straight (to avoid blinding oncoming cars), and left one has to point slightly to the left. Anyways, i couldn't find any screws to adjust it. Any ideas?

2.
How long does it take your 2.0tdi to warm up? Mine takes ages (5 minute warm up, and 5 minute drive and temp is barely above 50 mark), and cools down fairly quick. Also if i have heating on full power, only done it once as experiment, temperature drops slightly below 90. All that with air temp of around 6-9c . I obviously suspect thermostat, but not very familiar with 2.0tdi engine, so wondering if it's normal for them

There was supposed to be few more questions, but while writing this they popped out of my head :censored:

Your help is much appreciated

My current 1.9 & previous 2litre took ages to warm, so did my V reg 1.9tdi Toledo 10 years ago. I had a Mazda 6 td in 2003, warm air from the heater in under two miles & up to full temp in four miles!

TDI take AGES to warm up - this time of year at least 10-15 mins on a slow commuter run.
Alfa V6 warm within minutes....
Its the efficiency/burn temp of diesel.

mine starts to warm up after travelling 2 miles, i shift at 2.5k and accelerate at a reasonable pace

The water jacket will recover most of the heat from the area round the exhaust valves, if you are coasting down hill or on fairly level ground it'll take longer than if you are making the engine work by going up hills or having to change speed a lot

No idea about the lights though, might be some adjustment of the bulb in its holder

.... Still no idea on headlight adjustment?
There are some screws to adjust the headlights ... thou not mentioned, if your Altea has ordinary H7 headlights or Bi-Xenon?? (the latter has the dynamic headlight range control)

Ever had a discoverable frontal bump?

Still the horizontal misalignment is confusing me a little ... checked MWG's idea about the holders?

greets ... Klaus

No frontal bump, I'm quite sure. Lights are normal h7. Holder adjustment does not make sense since both dipped and main beams are pointing in the same direction, and they are in separate holders. There is another screw which I haven't tried adjusting, as I think its separate for main beam, but its only a guess, so I'll give it a go when I have more than 15 min spare.
