:p told you that i am not such a good mechanic.
but thank you for your patience.
so i must explain as clearly as i can to my mechanic, and show him these picture (if you allow me the copyright :p )

:) got it.
and the hose on the left (which you underlined under the inlet manifold), where and how does it connect to the can?
does it have a T-piece somewhere?

there is a 90degree bend already fitted there as standard, your hose will fit straight on to the 90. you then fit the other end of the hose to the can. then around half way down, cut the hose, join it back up with a T, then you use the spare outlet from the T to join the rocker cover. this then leaves a spare outlet one the catch can its self. join the out let on the can straight to the TIP. job done

haha wayne, good man, i bet your car can breath well now. i bet it thought it had a blocked nose :D

@ bogdan
i got the 19mm hose and T from ebay. nothing special.
this is the 90degree fitting. dont take any notice of the T as this pic is part of the pcv removal.

wonderful.
i trusted that tuning service for mounting this can, because they have done a few, but on 2.0TFSI Golf GTIs, and they have a ~1000bhp GTR made custom by them..but apparently they got my can wrong :(
the 90 degrees pipe under the inlet, at me, is blocked by a plug, as seen in one of the picture attached by me earlier...

i will keep this topic posted, after i visit my mechanic :)
perhaps i will have sometimes the opportunity to return the favor of helping me.
do you accept virtual beer? :p

lol...:))
is it ok that quantity of oil?
how many miles, has your car?
(after your signature, we are around there with the engine power, and modifications..,but my care has around 180 000 km)
i think of empty it at every 8-9.000 kms, when i have my regular maintenance.

hi all, today i emptied my catch can and it was almost full. i have a few pics to share with you all, its amazing the amount of crap that will go back into the engine if a catch can isnt fitted. so if you squeamish please look away now :)

well i thought i would share my report with you all. this can must be doing the world of good to my engine :)
sam

yikes, that looks nasty! What one did you get sam, and mind if I ask how much it set you back? Every time I have my DV off to check it (a lot lately) it's reminded me I should get this done. How long did yours take to get that full?

Mines been on for about a month or so gunna do this tomoz I think so will post my findings :)

Sam you wanna pop to swindon tomoz and help me with a few bits need a kean eye ;)

Text me :D

@ 8bit. Its a cheap toyo can from ebay, cost around £25 from memory. During the cold weather the can fills up quicker due to more condensation, this took around 4 months to get this full. In the warmer weather it takes much longer to fill up.
@ sam. I would love to pop down m8 but me and kirst have plans, you can always give me a call and i can talk you through :)

I know what I'm doing ;) just need an extra hand lol but I should be ok :) lol
