You've just answered your own question :D

I think the ACC is great as I spend 80 miles on the motorway every day. If the majority of my driving was around town then I wouldn't find it very useful at all.

Cheers buddy...that's very useful to know.

Option 2 I guess.

The only time my Acc gets used is on the motorway.

I haven't got sat nav high, but I don't have any problem with the exis to ng media and sound system. So I'd save yourself a few quid and just get the safety pack

I use ACC every day and im never on the motorway. Its fine on A roads where you are just following the rest of the cars on the daily commute. I love it!

Thanks guys, really appreciate everyones input. :)

Although ACC sounds like a really impressive feature. Personally, I can't see me getting the full benefits out of it, always got cruise control option for the long journeys. So I have decided to go with Nav system High and the Safety plus 1.

Cheers man, I appreciate. Hope I don't get any issues etc as well, fingers crossed.
Not sure if I got a good deal or not but I am happy I think. The guys I ordered with
offered the best price out of all the dealers in 150 mile radius and were very helpful
and professional.

How far did you have to travel? I have one local who I have had good experience with got my Toledo as an approved one for 13k 1 month old 9 Miles on clock SE Nav so I was very happy and I got full PX price for my car which had broken front suspension lol

:) Nice, my only gripe is that the guys I went with wouldn't accept my PX but I got a decent sale privately.

Didn't have to go far at all, I recently moved from where the dealer is based to my home town which is 26 miles away. There is another Seat dealer closer to me but they quoted a grand more for the same spec. I think the exact difference between DTD.com and dealer is £823 plus or minus a few pennies.

Haha sounds like I should move to where ever you are... only freebies I am offered is full tank of petrol on collection and a gift (not sure what that is yet)

Yea I know it was rather strange, I even told the second dealership the current offer I had in hand but they didn't try to get close. Tried carwow as well and the offers on there were +£800 more and none of them wanted to negotiate and one of them even said go with the offer you have before they realise, they've messed up.

Hi guys,

I was initially told 12 weeks lead time for my new car which is not ideal but I accepted it. This morning I received a message saying that as there is high demand for this particular model, the whole process will roughly take a minimum of 12 weeks + 10 weeks = 22 weeks in total....

Is there anything I can do to get the car quicker? like pay more money?

Cheers

Be more flexible with what you want and see if anything is already in the production line, in transit or in the UK.

Thanks twitchynik, I rang Seat and they are saying that they have no 1.4TSI in stock lol I find this really hard to believe but it's quite a small showroom.

All Seat dealers have access to the stock system and should be able to source a vehicle, dealerships only tend to hold a couple of different models so as twitchynik said see what is available in stock/on it's way and then make a decision from there.

I used Car Wow back in March and found them very good, I bought from Marshall Seat in Leicester who came up with a very good price and were able to get a car with everything I wanted very quickly.

I tend not to go with factory orders as there can be long delays and in the meantime your own car is losing money every month which then makes the overall deal in the end not so attractive.

Thanks for the advice Raymondo. Funnily enough I have had dealings with David Crooks of Marshall Seat but they couldn't match the offer I got locally.

Have asked about what they are getting in and also if there is any stock nearby to match my spec or similar. Answer to the first question on the phone is that they have no 1.4TSI allocated and someone will get back to me about second question, doesn't seem promising at this stage.
