Aerial!!

Just got an alloy bee sting aerial the other day, but im finding it a pain in the arse to get the old one off!!! It just keeps unwinding but doesn't want to detach!! Any help would be appreciated!!

How easy was it? Was it just a case of unscrewing it and pulling it real hard?

piece of p*@s mate unscrew it till it keeps spinning then simply yank job done on the same note though does anybody know the thread diameter as my gf bought a civic aerial and i tried it on mine and the thread wasn't long enough to get past the plastic casing

You have to trim the rubber on the civic aerial, done so the thread is longer, then it fits.

nope, i havent done it, but it's been done in the past by others, you just need to trim the rubber at the bottom of the aerial and it'll fit.
