Well, I have the one from a Civic typeR/S2000 and the signal is fine. The other recommended one on here is the Citroen C2 aerial.
If you don`t want a loss of signal I`d stay away from the alloy halfords type cos they is :w4nk: innit.

I have a C2 aerial with Pioneer stereo - Radio reception is TERRIBLE.
Standard aerial was great, but I snapped it (don't ask) so I'm looking for an aerial of similar length to OEM, but maybe 2 inches shorter (to avoid getting snapped again)

In that case mate the Honda one is flexible, about 8 inches and for me the signal is fine.
I have to ask though... how did you snap it? :hide:

Oh pants, ok: well I have an electric garage door, but it doesn't open quite enough, so when I reverse out, the aerial catches and bends it backwards.

I bent the aerial down and had it held to the roof of the car, then forgot about it, opened the boot, and basically bent it the opposite way to it should be and heard a crack - it became "floppy" (oh er missus) and that was that. :p

I know the honda one is flexible, but even in my leon the S2000 aerial didn't give great reception. Need something longer, but same style.

Right, for a minute I thought you had used an auto-car wash with your aerial still up or something! seen that a few times.

LOL, that`s why I did`nt say it first time mate! I`ve used one ONCE in my life, you may as well wash your car with rocks!
I too use the "I care about my ride" method.

Fair enough about your honda aerial though, guess I live in a good reception area as mine is spot on.
