Aero Wipers

I'm trying to buy some new aero wiper arms and blades for my girlfriends Valentine's Day present (I think it's romantic...!), and I've been searching the site for about 2 hours and I'm unable to find the part numbers

I was wondering if someone could post the part numbers for the arms and blades ? Thanks in advance

sure i've seen this thread somewhere before - don't the skoda vrs's use the aero wipers? try one of their forums???

I would agree that a search of "aero wipers" brings a lot of information, but no part numbers!!

I rang my local dealer, but he wanted my vin number as he wasn't sure which parts were right. Obviously, the vin is no use, hence I'm after the part numbers.

I believe they are (make sure your dealer checks the output!):
6X2 998 405,
6X2 998 406 (driver side?),
including the arm and the wiper.

In addition (I'm 100% sure about these at least)
6Q6 955 707 A - VW Polo rear wiper arm
6Q6 955 425 A - VW Polo rear aero wiper blade
6Q6 955 435 A - VW Polo rear wiper cover cap (which needs modification!)

Maybe you can also consult this thread http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=100115&highlight=front+aero+wiper and ask the seller if they fit mk4?

i got the replacement valeo blades for £20, and their really isnt much difference between them and the 'real' one's. Tell her their the 'real' once and she'll know no different, their all "aero" wipers at the end of the day.

I did contact the seller you mentioned, but they don't do a mk4 set yet.

I'd double check that the front arms fit the car before handing money over.. If they do, let us know

BTW. I think that the originals (or whatever) are 53cm (driver) and 47cm (passenger), but at least the passenger side blade is "special". When I bought a couple of Bosch aero blades that fit the original attachment hooks the passenger side blade won't wholly reach the windshield in horizontal position..
