Rear brake disc.

Im wanting to make my brake discs look a bit prettier until i can afford some replacements.
The flat part which brakes with the pad looks ok, i was just gonna give then a rub with a wire brush.

But im wanting to paint the rusty part between disc & the wheel & the edges of the disc. And also on the rears, the black plate part behind the disc.

Wanting to do them silver, would i need some special high temp paint to do this or would i be ok with something like hammerite smooth?

Front.

The white rusting part here is what im wanting to paint along with the rusted edge of the discs.

Hello mate,

i was planning on doing the rears, i have heard about the rear callipers being difficult to get off, or back on? so was gonna do the fronts first! smooth hammerite sounds like the plan then, thanks :)

did mine in hammerit silver the only prob is you have to wire brush all the rust off then mask up the face of the disc if spraying like i did if brushing you dont but i found after about 6 minths the rust starts to show again .the rear disc is really easy to get out just take pads out and undo the screw in the disc and it will slid past the caliper hangers
