Aftermarket Headunit igntion live

Hi i have been searching and just wanted to know that do i need to make a ignition live when fitting in a aftermarket head unit .....or will a lead like the CTSST001 CAN-Bus steering control adapter do all that for me because it says it in its description....."This advanced CAN-Bus interface also provides switched live, illumination, speed pulse and reverse wires to make stereo/navigation installation easier." just confused on this switch live

Switched live will be included on the wiring for the adaptor.

Switched live will be included on the wiring for the adaptor.

There isn't a switched live as such on the MK2 Leon, the CANBUS controls it all.

To the OP : Yes, a Connects2 steering control adapter will do the trick.
