Hello,

Does any one know where the air con pressure switch is located on my 2001 seat leon, I think it's the black sensor towards the rear of engine bay at the top can someone confirm this?? And also does anyone know how to change it as my aircon isn't working and vag.com says that the problem. I've used the search button and also google to no avail.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks

Jason

On my Octy it's on the bulkhead in a heat shield, connected to an alloy pipe one side and plug the otherside, just unscrews, hold the pipe without crushing it and undo switch taking care not to snap pipe,19mm spanner if I remember, just take your time and don't force it.

Just thought I'd add I've just changed the sensor, it took me 30 minutes but I was taking my time and not forcing it. Was fairly easy in the end. It was located towards the bulkhead. 15 mm spanner for old 1 just unclipped it then unscrew. No gas escaped. Then it was a 17mm spanner to tighten the new part up and just attach the clip. Job done. Air con all working again :)

I got quoted £80 to fit this part.

It can be done by yourself.

Regards

Jason
