Good work and great timing lol

I'm 90% there with fixing mine. More work involved than you though :(

Had to rewire most of the Aircon loom as it's broken in various places. Just need a new condenser now and re-gas!

Check your condenser fan also. I've noticed mine turns slowly and doesn't kick in full speed. So ac is cold but not freezin standing still but on the move its fine.

Thats my next job! Happy as it for now.

If you have VCDS you can run a full Output test which checks and moves everything including coolant fan :)

Not leaky condenser. Really need cold air ...

Ah must try that. Do u know what group number? I wizzed through them before the compressor was fixed but didnt mean much to me.

No leaks, the guy spent ages with UV and dye.

Can scan and look for you .

Mine turned out to be wiring to AC Pressure Switch and Compressor.

Had it leak tested and it's pouring out the condenser, had it leak test for free as they couldn't regas it

Can you get the Compressor pump for the 1.9 Tdi (cupra) for that sort of cash?? Mines also sheared the coupling! i think!! Had it regassed last year bo leaks but the compressor wouldnt engage

Does the climatronic screen flash when you start the car?

This would indicate either;

A) Low or No gas in the system (AC Pressure Switch de-activates the pulley clutch)
B) There is an error (AC Pressure switch faulty or a wiring issue)

The aircon pulley is easy to check. If you can move the center of the pulley and the outside doesn't move (ENGINE OFF ONLY) then it's sheared, other than that, the pulley is fine.

Also here are the part numbers for the AIRCON Compressor (appears they are interchangeable through the engines depending on size) - http://www.partsbase.org/seat/ibiza...connecting-and-mounting-parts-for-compressor/

There are 478 of them on ebay and they are all exactly the same I.e. Not only fit the ibiza range but fabia, polo etc.

Part number is 6Q0820803D

The other numbers that appear on the sticker of the compressor are just the date of manufacture and other stuff you don't need to worry about.
