I added some lights to my glovebox today seeing as SEAT scammed me out of having a light in there as standard! Anyway, while adding the LED's, and connecting them, I had to disconnect the Passenger Airbag Connector.

Now however, when I turn the car on, the first thing that flashes up is 'Airbag Fault' and the passenger airbag isnt connecting (the logo in the instrument cluster confirms it).

Can anyone recommend how to sort this issue?

Thanks

dealer visit to reset it i believe ... don't think it can be done via vag-com .. but might be worth checking the vag-com forum just incase :)

Hi, I had this problem last week in my 07 FR. Fault code was deleted by dealer however, the car required a "Wiring repair" - basically the multiplug under the passenger seat was removed and the wires were joined (hopefully not with sticky tape:confused:). The vibrations caused by the firm suspension cause the problem - I'm presuming a break in contact to trigger the fault code.

Was told it's a common problem (yet another) ... the list goes on:(

yip it is a common fault, i was in the dealers twice in 2 months due to it but they also replaced my side airbags aswell as they were also causing a fault, lucky i never crashed as i was told my airbags MIGHT not of deployed and i also had to wait 2 weeks for a new airbag to arrive
