Alarmed !!!!!

new problems

It was raining on the way home last night………..

3 Things:- 1 might not be a problem, 1 maybe, 1 definitely

In reverse order:-
1) Daytime running lights appear not to be working at all (with switch on “I” or “0”)
2) Coming Home lights also appear not to be working (with switch on “I” or “0”)
3) Intermittent windscreen wipers sort of worked in the rain but didn’t go fast enough with heavy rain, and didn’t stop when the rain had stopped and a dry windscreen

So….booked back into the dealers
:(

Dunno about your lights, probably they have done an ECU flash and they need to be re-enabled. Your intermittent wipers have a delay control with 5 settings on the wiper stalk. This also doubles as the auto wipers sensativity controll, if you have auto wipers that is.

Nath - you were right - they reprogrammed the ECU and the auto wipers, DRL's, and coming home lights now work.

The xenon hedlamp flicker is a "known" problem with a "tech sheet" to resolve - so those of you with xenons key an eye out for it !

Towbar electrics v parking sensors - not resolved (now reversing sensors up the creak - proposal to fitted SEAT wiring kit ).... - one of these days I wont have to visit the dealers !!!

Had that on my A3 - got the Xenon's replaced under warranty (they replaced both even though only one was doing it) ... still flickered

picked the car up from the dealers - all dried out and reassembled

liaising with SEAT UK Customer Care - who I must say rang me within 12 hrs of the "feedback" (which I left in the evening anyway) Discussing what can be done to restore my confidence in the brand:think:

Ordering the audi bits to at least help add some additional protection (covers x4 + rubber seal). Understand audi get through lots of the covers because customers don't know how to install/uninstall them and keep breaking them !!!! - any advice from those who know?

Hi I know this has been a while, but do you remember how much it cost you to get all that resolved?
I have a 2012 Diesel Exeo Multitronic. Having intermittent issues with key not working, got lot of water in the back foot well behind the driver seat and some in the driver foot well. I have also noticed the bluetooth not showing on phone so I'm guessing this is also a possible related issue?

Any advise as how to proceed would be great! Does anyone know any Seat specialists in brum?
