wee update gave it a good going over the other week to get rid of some winter grime, still to finish it all off but no rush, off work for the next 6 weeks so planning to make a few changes to the car

hate how it looks under the bonnet at the moment, loads of rusty nuts n bolts n filter is disgustin. also strut brace is looking rough so thats getting done along with other bits n bobs hopefully!
going to take the cam cover off and paint that and the inlet mani to. hopefully be some other changes going on but all cash dependant. any suggestions for colours for the cam cover n mani?? was thinking both silver, both black, yellow cam cover n silver mani or black mani or all crackle black?
can anybody spot the fuse for the fan?? a previous owner has gypsy fixed it going to order a new fuse box asap its seriously annoying me
first power related part bought from hartosh1, in far better condition than i expected litteraly no play in it what so ever so hopefully get it on in time for the RR day at extreme, then start gathering parts for stage 2
Whats the best way to do it grieg? Sand paper then wet n dry then polish it?? Think ill do that n polish the visible pipework to n just do the cam cover crackle black
slight change of plan, getting rid of the 312mm brake upgrade as ive lost interest in them and need discs before ill have the 312s ready to go on! so the hopefully the money made from them will buy me a new TIP and i can whack that and the k03s on
the car is going on the rollers on saturday if all goes well so will give me a figure to build on cos as of yet no power related modifications have been made since i got it! Will try to update on saturday with a current power figure then get the k03s on in the next week or 2 and depending when i can get rid of the brakes a TIP will be getting purchased as im to skint the now to buy it
haha **** that for a laugh!! im surprised how driveable the car still is at that height to be honest it doesnt even buff! only scrubs the arches a bit at full lock but ive just stopped using full lock, feels more stable round corners aswell since i dropped it a wee touch more, i suspect thats due to the added stiffness. cant wait to get my ARB fitted will need to get the finger out n phone badger 5 to order mounting brackets.
turbo and TIP are going on next week. goin away for the week n my mrs, big brother said hell do it to pass the time as he left his job as a tech in ford and is just passing time till he moves to australia next month! saves me doing it and he knows what hes doing where as id be guessing will hopefully feel like a different car when im back
got a quote off my mate for getting my roof done black when i was talking to him at his unit, just a spur of the moment thought n not made my mind up on it, whats peoples opinions??

No problems with the tip then alex? I was a bit worried incase i had trimmed too much off the bottom haha but for the price you got it for you cant complain
tip was fine, trimmed a few hoses etc that connected to it to tidy things up / make them fit better but as you said cant complain for the price!! desperate to smarten up my engine bay it looks awful in the pictures and also need to get my finger out n bypass the n249!!
Alrite mate to answer your post in Rob's thread i was maybe thinking extreme again but im now having 2nd thoughts about going through with the map right now as money is tight and its gonna cost a fair bit. Id rather wait and see what happens with the car first.
