Alloy Powder Coating

Hi guys,

Just out of interest, how much does it cost to get wheels powder coated?

My FR alloys look way nicer when they are dirty than clean, I think they need a change!

Had a look online, but no one lists prices. I guess they are price on application.

How much would I be looking at for all 4 to be powder coated?

i got all 4 of mine powdercoated for £160 that was at wheel doctor in scunthorpe

you can get all four wheels without tyres done for £20 a corner a good proper chemical strip and powder coat but its im birmingham altho so far in the swindon are from quotes ive had it works out cheeper to take them up and courier them back

Ideally, I'd want to go somewhere, where I can drop the car off as is, they take off tyres, do the work, then re-fit them with the weightings done.

Is there such a place/service?

I got mine dont in shadow chrome, he took my old tyres of and disposed of them, fitted my new tyres and balanced them and powder coated my wheel for £250

Oh, can you not keep your existing tyres?

I'd want to put my current ones back on, as they are almost new and £150 a corner!

Where did you get yours done mate? Thinking about this in the near future... best so far is £160 but they just want the rims and won't take the tires off.

BJV Engineering based in Hemel Hempsted, used them a couple of years ago for a set of 16" Fiat coupe turbo wheels i had... £100 for a full chemical strip, full refurb, painted gloss black and laquered.
