Just had to change the Tyres and found that 1 of the alloys has a flat area on the inside of the wheel. The dealer says that it was not there when the car was sold to me last year:-o:-o.

How much will it cost to get it repaired?:censored:

Where in Scotland can i get it done?

Hi,

Dont know if the normal alloy repair folk can deal with flatspots (do you have a pic?) on the alloys, worth a check tho.

I had kerbd my alloys and got Stuart (my name too!) at Bodyfixplus (http://www.bodyfixplus.co.uk/ ) to repair them.

He done a great job, didnt rush and they looked great after!

Problem was my 18" andromeda are powdercoated, i believe as standard.
Within a few months the new paint started to flake off!

Called the guy back and he refunded me the full cost of the repair - no fuss. He explained that the powder coating is very durable and as such the primers and new paint he applied would have been unable to get a grip so would come off.

From what he was saying, most alloys are just painted as its cheap so these are easy to repair as paint sticks to paint.

Im thinking that as these are an upgrade, seat use a more premium and durable coating, also given the low profile, there more likely to get bashed about!
