Waah! I can't believe it!

After all the to-ing and fro-ing I ordered the gunmetal rims, and after the comments on here I had convinced myself that they were by far the superior option. Then this lunchtime I get a call from the shop to tell me that they're completely out of stock!

Apparently the manufacturers only have the silver ones, and won't have any more gunmetal ones for at least 6 weeks

I'm desparate for the new wheels, as my current tyres resemble racing slicks, and are of very questionable legality. But forking out a few hundred quid on new rubber when i'm about to change the wheels would be a complete waste.

Not bad... not bad... but they don't really jump out at me like the Rota ones.

What I'm looking for is something that's a nice simple crisp design, like the standard LCR wheels (which I love).

I like the Rota ones because they are pretty similar to the LCR wheels, but different enough to make you look twice.

The other wheels I fell in love with were TSW Catalunyas, but they've stopped making the damn things (and in the end I think I prefer the Rotas anyway)!

Think i'll have to make do with the silver ones to be holnest...

I haven't got much choice at the moment!

Besides, the 16s that were standard on the pre-facelift Cupra look too puny. Not to mention the fact that they're a nightmare to clean!

Anyway, I reckon that the wheels I've gone for are verging on OEM anyway... like i said before they look a lot like the OEM LCR wheels (IMO). Only they're just going to be bolted to an LC instead!

I just like the design of the wheels...but yes i do agree they would have been awesome if they were bigger.

I think the silver ones look bloody nice - black ones only tend to look nice on a yellow or black to me...
