Almost like... scuff marks on the interior?

Hi,

I have no idea what could of caused it, but I've got what looks like a scuff mark on the glove compartment and it's ruining the otherwise very shiny dash!

Any recommendations on what to use to restore it? I've tried some back to black solution stuff, but didn't have any joy.

Turned out an absolute dream - much better than I was hoping even, the marks really bugged me before but they're barely visible now, thanks cupra79

What sort of shoe polish did you use?

Dont you end up with colour mismatch to the rest of the interior?

Really need to sort some similar scuffs out on my the top/passsenger side of my Ibiza's dash.... any tips/suggestions to sort it out appreciated!!
