Alpine 178bt phone book update

Hi all,

Not sure if this coverd as I couldn't find a similar topic.

Recently installed my new unit, which I am delighted with.

Problem is when I go to make a call, I see phone book update on the unit. This can last up to 15 mins before the phone book will load.

I did try a firmware update, made no difference.

Anyone come across this or have a suggestion... ?

Have you got the phonebook update set to automatic?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. It's in the settings on the headunit for the phone. From memory you press and hold the audio button to enter the settings then go down to the Bluetooth or phone settings. Should be in there.
