Not decided on replacement but decided to spend a few £ to bring back the love. A detailing session is on the cards among other things in the near future and maybe a couple of new parts
Looks great after the detail mate. Had a look at the write-up the Detailer did and he's done an ace job. At least Bess has had someone being nice to her paint for a bit now eh!!??
Robs done another great detail. That's the first time I've seen your car Al and I must admit it looks superb as it is. Pretty aggressive even without the aero kit lol.
Eck - yeah the car will prob look a little but more aggressive if when that lad at triple r composites sorts out the splitter for that bumper. Did you go by Robs place or just see it from the pics?
Just the pics mate. I noticed the back ground straight away from when mine was done. Bit gutted I didnt pop over to see it when I had the chance now. If I had the cash it would deffo be on my list but £18k is £6k over my budget which is just a tad to much lol.
I've seen the splitter on another car in the mk2 section, makes a bit improvement on the front end for surprisingly little cash.
I don't really go into the Scotland section as its mostly you Aberdeen lot that meet up lol.
They next time your down this way give me a shout so I can have a wee looky. Still don't know whether to get the edition 30 or the cupra so a good look round either would be nice.
I find the Sachs/Loba stuff is good - absolutely no slip, but that means it has re-introduced more wheel spin if I am not careful with the loud pedal!
There is a little bit of thrum up to ~1750 rpm - after that you wouldn't know it was non-OEM (apart from the greater pedal pressure which took no time to adapt to).
