Hi,
I tried to see if I could find any info on this before I posted but couldn't and sorry if there is one.
I'm having to change the head gasket on this engine (BSE petrol), now before I actually go any further I wanted some advice. (Yes it's head gasket too, white smoke, coolant loss very quick, no external leaks and no overheating yet).
Is there any specific tools I need for cam, crank, pulley? Ie the timing tools, I can't seem to find any for less than £190 and that's out my price range just for the tools.
Is there anything that someone could advise to get just to help me through this process as I don't really want to play (will is move) when I come to take the head ect off as we all know that's just not how any engine plays ball.
Cars not worth the price to take it to a garage either unfortunately so means I've got to DIY, I've done it before on a grande Punto but that engine was non intrusive so was easier.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you
