altea windows steaming up- Bad air-con system?

Hi guys,
Recently my altea 2.0 TDI has been steaming up a lot in all windows. The front does clear but not very quickly and the air-con system doesn't seem very powerful. It is really annoying as it can be quite dangerous when driving. It happens so quick.

It is as if the car is damp but it is not. Has anyone else encountered these problems?

Thanks,

Blair

Stato, do yo uhave any issues with the windows picking up water on the upward stroke, i.e. streaking of water along any portion of any or all of the windows when rolled dow n and up again? I have this issue, apparently fixed (still occurs!), this in conjunction with the wet weather doesnt help much.

Just on off chance is it climate or standard control and do you have the recirc button on?

You might think it's not damp, but the three inches of sponge under the carpet could be absolutely saturated. I don't know whether the Altea suffers from leaking doors like alot of VAG cars do?

Might be worth checking your cabin filter as well, see if thats ok.
