Just discovered a new way to fold the mirrors. Not sure if this is common knowledge or not, but if you hold down the lock button on the key fob when removing the key from the ignition the mirrors fold.

So you have to lock the car whilst you are still sitting in it? Seems like they haven't thought that procedure through very well...

Or, maybe you haven't. Try holding down the lock button on your fob for 2 seconds at ANY time (like when you are out of the car and locking it) and see what happens to your wing mirrors.

If you're sitting in the seat why wouldn't you just turn the mirror control knob?

Agreed, I was just confirming that it works, but only if the key is in the ignition.

I'm quite happy with the 2 second button push, but someone might find it useful.

My question was aimed at the OP not you Fred.

I find a quick twist of the knob can be handy for getting on tight spaces.

Yeh, the button on remote is so that you can fold the mirrors/shut the windows from in the house, rather than go out to the car.

I believe that you can change it via VDCS so that the mirrors fold up on a single press of the key button. So no holding it down.

Need to get mine changed as it bugs me having to hold it down for 3 seconds.

Is that independent of the comfort closing? Id still like to be able to leave my windows cracked but still fold the mirrors (pressed twice to turn off the interior sensor [B)])
