I washed my leon at the weekend, and spend a long time trying to make it look good by getting all them damn bugs from the front grill.

Onced washed I DRY MY CAR WITH A SPECIAL TOWEL to save the car getting streaky when the water dries...

When i got back in my wife called me a saddo and said im probably the only person ever to dry my car like a baby. :)

Please say im not the only one. haha

You're not alone mate, although I use an 'old fashioned' chamois leather but that's probably down to my age!
I always get stick from the missus when I spend a couple of hours washing my car, but this weekend she outdid herself by insisting I let our 2 and a half year old daughter help me!
Needless to say I spent more time fending her off with her sand encrusted hands, stopping her scrubbing the drive with a brush or eating the bubbles than cleaning the bloody car!
Luckily she poo'd herself and had to go in and have a bath, bless her.

i assume your wife takes time applying make up, spending money on 'better' lip stick or eye liner.. not to mention 'special' shampoo that contains secret ingredients from the amazon rain forest!

and if you dont notice all this effort...

...go on, say it. "Cleaning your car is like making love to a beautiful woman....."

Cleaning your car is like making love to a beautiful woman. Then the person next to you sh*ts themselves.

hahah the bosnians...

How can people let those "car washers" in tescos car park wash their pride and joy. it makes me cringe...

i have to fend them off with a stick

if im doing a quick wash use a chamois, if im taking more time over it i use a drying towel and have my BIG box of things out with me

Just washed mine yesterday, dried off with a waffle weave towel - then waxed, then sealed the wheels etc. etc.

Trust me you're not sad mate.

I can but dream of waxing and sealing the wheels, reckon I'd be out for about 4 hours doing that, by which time she'd have changed the locks on me!

Hi I Use An Air Line To Dry My Leon Its Great,, But You Get Some Funnnnny Looks ,, They Think Its A Hosepipe .
