Am i being stiffed by my dealer?

Been having trouble with my climate control for quite some time now i don't get any cold air. I have had it gassed and had no joy and have also taken it to a local garage where they diagnosed it as a problem with the condenser but they didn't seem to sure, so i eventually have taken it to my local dealer and the tell me it is my A/C control unit and it will cost £365 to be put right!!! has anyone had a similar problem if so how did they resolve it? any help would be greatly appreciated cheers

Shouldnt that be replaced under warranty. Also I wouldnt use your service number as you user name imo!!!

Your quite right i shouldn't have used my service number but i haven't bothered to get a new login yet but it is on my to do list lol. + one of the numbers is the wrong way round anyway (fingers like pigs tits)

Check with Vag-Com if you can. I had a climate control fault code and no cold air...dealer told me it was 'normal' Went to pick car up next day but they told me they had found a faulty A/C sensor and re-gassed it for me for free (was under warranty at the time).

So your problem could be a little cheap sensor...

I'd take it to an AC specialist.... certainly if you're having to pay a dealer won't be the best value
