Nice one Dave! just read the full thread, and I need a drink now!! I was walking along Park Road the other night, and when you passed me the car sounded totally different on boost, so I came on here to find out what you'd been up to!!

im going to be doing a trial and error with the map! currently running revo st2 going to see how it performs then going to try old s3 (non vvt) revo and if im not happy going to go custom!

my wheels are Team dynamics monza R's - 17"
would have kept my standard ones (which are in my attick) but i needed bigger brakes
i like them now though, they have grown on me alot

*Little update*
car was making a funny kinda noise when i got my car back from jabba (blowing)
thought it was exhaust probs and said to myself i would look at it when i got home, floored it for the first time under boost and the turbo is making a funny noise, only happens on boost (like a whirring noise), got on the phone to mike from jabba and he said he heard that when it was on the rollers and presumed it was the exhaust housing on the turbo, so iv been on/off the phone to mike (from AM) to see if ican get some kind of explanation for this noise as nor he or josh got this noise with this turbo (as its been getting slightly louder)
anyways ....... took it to where it got fitted and it turns out it was the exhaust manni to turbo gasket
Changed this gasket for a new one and replaced the 3 manni bolts and now all is well, no noise, sounds alot better and gained 2psi ??
My question is :- how would this of effected the mapping? is it worth taking another trip to jabba for a "tweak" for this mysterious 2psi or should all be well?? how would this have effected the power delivery on the RR?
jabba dont seem to be in until after the new year (or just arnt answering the phone) so i cant ask them for their advice
any advice appreciated

I dont think 2 PSI will make a massive difference, but you will need to speak to the experts at Jabba.

i'd say so too. they'll have wound up the N75 duty to make the original boost required.... you'll need them to turn it down now

if i have to pay that again then its not gonna happen this or next month, cant afford it at the mo, was kinda hoping they would just make me cover labour costs....
