Ambient light problem

Hi all have a MK3 Leon fr 2014 the ambient lighting in the car isnt working properly after disconnecting the battery on the car before I did this I had red or white lights but now the lights are pink when in normal modes and then a slightly darker pink in sport mode I reset the lights from the radio didn't help and I plugged vcds tool into the car and had a look but couldn't find anything to change the colour all I could do was either have it the dark pink or light pink in all modes I can't find anything online on how to fix this any help would be much appreciated

Sounds like the light itself could be fried, is it both sides? The pre facelift car only do red or white. It'll be a door card off job to get at it and replace it.

Make sure if you order replacement lights to get the pre facelift lights. The facelift ones work differently as they are RGB

Thanks for the reply I was thinking maybe they were fried was hoping not as be €60 for both sides to buy the lights don't see how they could've fried tho from taking the battery off but worth a shot to get new ones I suppose
