Hi guys
For those of you who helped me a few weeks ago when i had a thread on here saying my cupra was not running right heres a update -
One guy on here recomended Amd in essex so i went there and like ive said before wicked guys really good and im happy its in good hands anyway...........................
I went there the 1st time spend £444 for loads new parts bit i can remember were,
-new air mass meter
-new power tech induction kit
-new dv pipe
-new recirculation valve
-new spark plugs
probly few other bits i forgot but at the end of the day it was running alot better but not as fast as it should be so they asked me to leave it with them, been 2 weeks now and had a call yesterday. Ill also say now i gave them a list of bits i needed doing to these were
-fix the drivers window (was not working at all and the switches for it)
-re-fit all door cards and boot plastic lining as wernt on right
-thermostate as my heated didnt work and car always read cold on motorways and hot in traffic
-brake switch as EPC light on
Right so they did all this and all mint now so happy think all above was £350 all in so not to bad, bad side was they told me the thermostate was taken out!!!!! God knows why the guy before must have thought he knew what he was doing when clearly not so the waterpump was constantly pumping water round so basically they put a thermostat in but now car overheats so they said mroe than likly to be the waterpump being nackered as its been running constatly so they are replacing that and then they said it should fly and also as ive replaced all them parts for brand new the car will be like new. Oh and as they could not believe the fact the thermostat was missing they said it would be wise to get the timing belt done as its easy to get to when doing thermostat and waterpump so to be on safe side im getting that done as i do NOT trust the other guy saying he did it so after all that it will be amazing i hope as shes only on 45,000 so basically seems like last owner thought he was a machanic done bits himself when infact he buggered the whole thing up!!!
But...at least when i get her back all will be perfect so i can focus on getting FMIC, A Better turbo KO3S/KO4/Hybrid and brembos lol
