An update on my LCR

Well got my temp sensor today, will fit it 1st thing tomorrow morning.

And if this doesn't fix the issue then I'm selling this piece of sh*t.

These 1.8T's are a pain when there's something not right - so many sensors and stuff.

Fantastic when they're right though - stick with it :D

Thanks guys...sorry about calling my car a piece of ****...that was 8 months of lack lustre performance and a bottle of wine talking lol :(

Anyway, I have just fitted the sensor (only a few drops of coolant trickled out) and done a 30 min battery disconnect. The good new is she started first time so at least that's something....couldn't go for a drive due to alcohol intake from earlier so will see what progresses over the next couple of days.

Thanks again everyone...I know in my heart the LCR is a great car.

Yeah Good Luck,

One question for you tho mate, at any point did your yellow engine management light come on???

Mines on and I am stumped at the mo as to why, poss black sensor tho.
