Ok, here goes.....

I have had my 18" andromeda's refurbed in a beautiful dark Anthracite as per this pic:

Bu the centres are catching my eye as they are still silver. The included SEAT logo makes them hard to paint and get a good result.

I was wondering if I could use the smaller black "roundell" cap that come with the black wheels (K1 or cupra) Seat have it as part no 1P0601165ZPP but I don't knoiw whether it will actually fit in the spigot hole of the andromeda?

Also if thats not a goer then the centre cap of the BBS sport wheels look anthractie does anyone have these? I would love to know the internal diameter of either before I go spend £50 at the dealers!!!

Thanks in advance!!
:)

Why not sand down the standard SEAT badge in the middle of the standard centre caps, use plastic primer and then colour match them to your wheel.

Get a graphics company to make you up new red or silver SEAT badges for the centre caps, job done ;)

Cheers Davey! I am concerned about not getting a good match though, looking at the replacement cap as a preference!!

chips away would match it - then use transfers/graphics as already suggested.

This would be my preferred method having witnessed the awesome results from chips away, might be worth getting any stone chips repaired at the same time;)

nice painted disc flanges by the way!

Cheers thats smoothrite! The calipers are high build primer and zinc heat resistant!

I am really after a centre cap though, the paint route doesn't interest me, the painter didnt get a good match on my exisiting ones and ended up wiping it off!!

They were done by a friend of mine in Godstone, surrey. I got mates rates but think they are about £50 per wheel? when I pay for them I'll let you know!!

i've had my andromeda alloys refurbed that colour for almost yr now and kept the centre caps as standard. having had the wheels on and off the car alot, the paint is scraping near the bolts. i'm now cosidering getting them refurbed an even darker colour or get a set of lightweight items.
how much are the darker centre caps from seremotors?

Its not confirmed they fit until I get the package but I think about £3 each? Its just a small roundell and I will use bolt caps in graphite to cover the now exposed bolts.

I know what you mean about leaving them tho mate, the contrast is kinda cool!!

Hi, My friend did them for me so I got trade rate, the entire wheel is refurbed completely. I believe his rate is about £60 per wheel and he's in Godstone in Surrey.

Hope this helps!

I have the same alloys and same colour and same problem with the centre caps just looking out of place. I was thinking of trying to get a good colour match in a rattle can and just do them myself then stick a little gel vinyl or similar in the middle.
How would u get a good colour match in a can tho?
